Potsticker Cooking Instructions:
(These Instructions are for 6 Potstickers)
Place Non-Stick or Cast Iron Pan on stove at medium heat. I prefer it a little below medium, which will allow for a better caramelized charred bottom
Add 1 TBS Canola Oil or any other neutral oil
Place dumplings in pan for 3-4 mins. You want the bottom of to have a light/medium browning
Pour (heavy) ¼ cup of hot water and cover to steam for 6-7 mins
You will know to take the cover off when all the water evaporates
Remove cover and let potstickers sizzle for another minute. This will ensure that the bottoms are charred to perfection
Give the pan a back & forth shake for release
I like to drizzle some more sesame oil over top before serving
